From the beginning, when Marine Tops Unlimited opened the doors in 1982, the focus has always been on creating the very best quality products possible.  At first, it was an eye for quality and selecting the best materials we could find.  Over the years, we became members of our industry trade association which allowed us to learn and collaborate with other top professionals around the country and beyond to improve our craft which caused us to earn a reputation around the Wisconsin boating community as one of the very best in our region.  Along the way, we expanded our business to new locations in Madison (1990) and the Wisconsin Northwoods (2015), and constructed a brand new purpose built headquarters facility in Omro, WI.  By this time, the Marine Tops team members had become some of the leaders of the Marine Fabricators Association and were one of the very first to take their business into the new technology age of digital measurement and CAD design.  Fast forward to today, where Marine Tops is nationally and globally recognized amongst the best canvas, upholstery, and flooring professionals in the world and continues to push our level of quality and knowledge to new heights with a never ending journey to offer the very best products and services to the great boating community we serve.

Marine Tops Unlimited specializes in the fabrication of custom boat covers, bimini tops and enclosures, sailboat dodgers and enclosures, cockpit covers, mooring covers, travel covers, pontoon covers, winter covers, and custom canvas solutions, as well as various marine flooring solutions and upholstery for boats and yachts of all sizes.  We serve the entire state of Wisconsin and bordering areas.  Our professional staff can serve you at any of our locations, dockside at your slip, or at your winter storage facility depending on the time of year.

‍Marine Tops Unlimited Inc. has been servicing the needs of Wisconsin boaters since 1982.  Carl Van Damme started Marine Tops with his father in Omro, WI.  His son, Kyle Van Damme joined Marine Tops at a young age and worked his way from cutting the grass and taking out the garbage in grade school to leader of outside sales, patterning, and installations after college and then an ownership role into his late 20s and early 30s to make Marine Tops a 3rd generation family business.

Marine Tops Madison was opened by Steve Griffith in 1990 and became the first satellite location which increased our coverage of Wisconsin.  In 2015, Marine Tops expanded again with the addition of Marine Tops Northwoods located in Harsaw, WI.  Bob, Ben, and Adam Wallis are a father and 2 sons team formerly of Northwoods Upholstery and Canvas who have been in the industry since 2000.  

Marine Tops Unlimited now has the largest coverage area in the state and over 200 years of combined experience and knowledge to meet all your boating needs. Each Marine Tops is separately owned and operated.

Marine Tops opened a brand new purpose built facility in the Fall of 2018 located less than a mile away from its original location in Omro, WI and in 2024 completed an expansion project of another building on site that aims to expand our capabilities and enhance the products and services we offer.
