Marine Canvas Entry-Level CAD Fabricator
Pay Range: $17-24 per hour
This is the chance to join one of the absolute best Marine Canvas and Upholstery companies in the Midwest. Marine Tops has a total of 3 locations in Wisconsin and is looking to hire at our main location in Omro, WI. We work on anywhere from a typical pontoon or runabout boat to very high-end yachts and many very cool and challenging high-end upholstery and marine flooring projects.
We are looking for an individual to work in our CAD department working on 2D Rhino CAD files. This person could also have several other job responsibilities including but not limited to running our automated material cutting table, digitally measuring, and manually patterning boats, and transferring traditional patterns to digital CAD versions using Photomodeler software. We are looking for a Full-Time or Part-Time person.
Experience in software such as Rhino CAD, Exact Flat, and/or Photomodeler is a plus but not at all necessary. Candidates NEED to be tech-savvy and proficient on a computer. We are willing to train the right person for the job.
Skills that would be a benefit for this job would be: CAD experience, automated cutting table experience, customer service skills and being personable, photoshop or Illustrator experience, sewing or upholstery experience, and experience with programs like Microsoft Office.
